Here at Audio Eyra we, like so many of you, are constantly searching for those mystical pieces of vintage gear that had “that magic” to them- the very things that make our ears tickle and our spines tingle.  We have a few favorite speakers here at the shop, that unfortunately, just can’t be found anymore.  Truly marvelous Altec’s and EV’s are a thing of the past.  If you do find an excellent specimen, they’re extremely expensive.  While you might be able to get a re-cone on a damaged speaker, the tone is not the same.  The paper, pulp, cone profiles,… nowhere to be found.  We wanted to solve this problem.

So, we are excited to announce that we have partnered with Scholz Electronics to bring to you our exclusive design that pays tribute to your favorite vintage tones.  Introducing the new Audio Eyra Company, 12” and 15” Scholz Alnico (AEC-12SA, AEC-15SA).  If full and rich sound is what you’re after, then look no further.  Suitable in both open and sealed enclosures, these drivers will impress.  Currently offered in 8 ohm configuration, these high-performance instrument speakers will handle 100 watts each.  Extended low frequencies, shimmering and delicates highs, coupled with mid-range clarity that can only be experienced in person.  We’ve done our absolute best to capture the sonic capability in some clips and videos that will be coming soon, but at the end of the day, you just have to experience this.  We’re absolutely stunned with how well they articulate not only the amp, but also the instrument.
