The Songvari

Introducing the Songvari vocal/acoustic preamp. For the recording or touring professional, Audio Eyra offers the sweetness of tone, breath, breadth, and depth. Everyone knows what it is to hear a great vocalist in the room, or an amazing violin or acoustic guitar,… a dobro, maybe hammered dulcimer. Now there’s a piece of gear that aids in the capture and presence of that space and feel.

Technically speaking, this preamp offers a pentode primary with a series of noval dual triodes to affect a combination of compression, tone control, and reverb. One input signal is processed through compression then EQ followed by reverb. Output is a balanced signal of the dry, un-EQ’d pre; and, a post EQ and reverb signal. The first output is under compression controls only.

Additional features include a -20db pad and 48Vdc phantom power. It really is 48 volts,….
